Edgewater Gardens

Edgewater, an existing 64-bed LTC, has been awarded an additional 64 beds from the MOLTC for a total of 128 beds.  The first stage of this exciting community project is the Master Planning stage where MMMC and our consultants will review the existing site conditions and explore various options for the additional beds. The preferred design solution will then we fully developed.

Dearness Home Auditorium Expansion Project

As original architects of Dearness Home, MMMC is collaborating with the City of London on an addition / renovation project that will feature an expanded, flexible multi-purpose room that will function as an auditorium, chapel and meeting room space with moveable walls, servery and washrooms. An addition will include a sun room, storage space and new Day Program entrance. Currently in construction with completion estimated in early 2023.

Terrace Lodge Long-term Care

The phased redevelopment of Elgin County’s Terrace Lodge includes an addition and renovations to the existing 100-bed home. The new home will have 84 private bedrooms and 16 semi-private, and improved resident spaces similar to a new Class A facility. All Resident Home Areas are designed to meet or exceed the Ministry Design Guidelines as well as a focus on therapeutic and healing environments and universal design. In addition to the existing library and salon, the new Terrace Lodge facility will contain a family suite, a new chapel, event space, gift shop, and tuck shop. The new building will wrap around a large outdoor courtyard. The project is under construction with completion scheduled for 2023.

Pleasant Manor Long-term Care

MMMC is pleased to be collaborating with Radiant Care on the redevelopment of Pleasant Manor LTC in Virgil, Ontario.  Their new 160-bed home will feature small home areas with a focus on community feel, universal accessibility, and reflect Radiant Care’s core values of love, respect, quality, excellence, faith, community, empathy, accountability and leadership. The Project is currently in design, with a goal of construction start in 2023.

Saint Luke’s Place Long-term Care

MMMC is collaborating with Saint Luke’s Place the redevelopment of a new 160-bed long-term care facility to meet current MLTC design standards. The new long-term care facility will be constructed adjacent to the existing buildings on land that includes a portion of land currently owned by Saint Luke’s United Church. The existing LTC home will remain in full operation through construction to avoid the downsizing of services to residents.
