The official opening & blessing of the new St. Pius X Catholic Elementary School took place on Wed May 21st, 2014, with the Bishop of Hamilton, The Most Reverend Douglas Crosby O.M.I., D.D., officiating. Father Tim Hingston, dignitaries, trustees, staff and the school community participated in the ceremony of prayer, tributes, song and dance to celebrate the new Catholic school. MMMC is pleased to be the architects for the new school which was designed with input from St. Bernard and St. Pius X school communities. Constructed for 300 JK – 8 students, the school features 13 classrooms, flexible project areas, learning commons and a gymnasium with a fold down stage.
