MMMC is very proud of the Chippewas School which was designed to respond to the rugged beauty of the Georgian Peninsula. The choice of natural building materials- wood and local limestone were chosen almost subconsciously when the very first pencil sketches were conceived on paper.
Wood WORKS! is a national campaign to increase the use of wood in commercial, industrial and institutional construction. The Canadian Wood Council leads this program with funding support from the wood industry, the federal government and provincial governments across Canada.
