Dearness Home

Key to the planning of London’s Dearness Home was the concept of resident-centered design, respecting core values of privacy, dignity and individuality. Resident personal spaces and communal spaces are spacious, home-like and designed for privacy as well as resident and staff safety. Dearness features a Secure Care Unit and space for a 50-person Seniors’ Day Program. In 2023, MMMC completed an addition/renovation project that expanded the multi-purpose room so that that it can function as an auditorium, chapel and/or meeting room space with moveable walls, servery and washrooms. An addition included a sun room, storage space and a new Day Program entrance for improved functionality.
