The new Acclaim Health Dementia Care Centre is set to transform dementia care in Halton Region. This project is an adaptive re-use of an existing industrial building in Oakville. The new multi-faceted hub will include two seniors day programs, 8-bed respite program, caregiver support areas, a year-round recreation garden and administrative space.
A new 4 storey, 122-unit retirement residence in Orangeville, ON, complements the existing facility of similar size. Phase II includes 24 studio units, 65-one bedroom apartments, and 33-two bedroom apartments along with comfortable dining and entertainment spaces. The new building will be connected to the existing structure with a generous first story link and will be fully accessible. Scheduled for completion in 2021.
