Kingsview Seniors’ Apartments

An affordable housing project designed to accommodate single and married senior residents. MMMC’s extensive project experience in senior’s residential and institutional care facilities incorporating “Universal” design principles and sustainable energy efficient features, allowed us to meet our client’s objectives.

The new apartment building is three stories in height containing 39 residential units comprised of 30 one-bedroom units and 9 two-bedroom units. Four of these units are designed to meet the Ontario Building Code requirements for barrier free accessibility.

An existing two storey apartment building occupied this site and the redevelopment included the new apartment building; enlarged parking and driveway area; a new central lobby; a two-storey high activity room with kitchenette and barrier free washroom and overlooking upper level seating / reading room; central laundry, mail delivery and refuse & recycle areas; and resident workshop and crafts room; walking paths, community garden and naturalized areas.
