Parkwood Mennonite Home

The design of Parkwood Home long-term care facility reflects Parkwood’s aim of providing emotional and physical well-being in a home-like setting.

Parkwood’s Mennonite cultural values are strongly rooted in the rural landscape of the surrounding farming communities. The architectural response employs timber framing to create a ‘link’ from the building to the people who pass through it’s doors.

In addition to the long-term care project, MMMC also designed and led the building of an 84-unit independent and assisted supportive living facility with wellness centre, and 18 garden homes for this continuum of care seniors’ campus.
