Hospice Vaughan – Mario and Nick Cortellucci Hospice

Hospice Vaughan – now named the Mario & Nick Cortellucci Hospice Palliative Care Centre of Excellence in recognition of the Cortellucci’s generous support of this community project – has 10 residential beds located on the ground level, each with generous views into landscaped gardens that includes inspirational garden art. Family gathering spaces, family support and counseling spaces, and multi-purpose rooms which will allow the hospice to continue to offer its successful drop-in day hospice and outreach support programs.

Adjacent to administrative offices, the upper floor has education and seminar spaces to promote the sharing of knowledge in the field of palliative care, as well as a research area where palliative care professionals will continue to innovate and refine how palliative and hospice services are delivered.
