The Boys and Girls Club in Brantford was founded by the Rotary Club of Brantford.  After outgrowing their original facility the Rotary Club committed to building a new facility on land leased from the City of Brantford at Lions Park.

MMMC were retained to design the new community facility along with TE Taylor Construction acting as construction managers.  Donations of materials and labour by local subtrades were included in the design.

The gymnasium is the centre of the facility and it is surrounded by a second level running track and cardio-weight facility lined with windows and views outside.  Other facilities include an aerobics area, games room and lounge, change-rooms, squash court, woodworking shop, craft rooms, computer labs, kitchen and offices.  The design concept is based on simple, economical materials used in a creative way to provide a delightful and durable facility.

A children’s daycare is integrated with the Club allowing for before and after childcare.
