At a prestigious ceremony at Queen’s Park in Toronto on Friday Feb 26th, 2016,  Craig Newsome received a Lieutenant Governor’s Ontario Heritage Award for Excellence in Conservation. This award is a culmination of Craig’s passion for adapting old buildings to new uses and his conservation efforts of historic structures, particularly within the City of Brantford.  Through these awards, in partnership with the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, the Ontario Heritage Trust recognizes individuals, groups and communities who have made exceptional contributions to conserving Ontario’s cultural and natural heritage. The award was presented by the Lieutenant Governor, The Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell. Congratulations Craig!
